Sapporo Sapporo is the fifth-largest city in Japan by population. It is the capital of Hokkaidô Prefecture, located in Ishikari Subprefecture, and an ordinance-designated city of Japan. Sapporo is best known outside Japan for hosting the 1972 Winter Olympics, and the annual Yuki Matsuri in the city, internationally referred to as the Sapporo Snow Festival, which draws more than 2 million tourists from around the world.

Mt. Fuji Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan. An active volcano that last erupted in 1707–08, it straddles the boundary of Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures just west of Tokyo, from which it can be seen on a clear day. It is located near the Pacific coast of central Honshû.

Okinawa Okinawa Island is the largest of the Ryukyu Islands, and is home to Naha, the capital of Okinawa Prefecture. United States Armed Forces personnel and Kadena Air Base have remained on Okinawa Island by invitation of the Japanese government as part of the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security between the United States and Japan.

Yonaguni Yonaguni is the name of the westernmost island of Japan, as well as the language spoken there. This island has recently become well known for massive sunken rock and stone formations known as the Yonaguni monument which surround the island. It has been claimed that it is human made. Leading scientists, after diving there, suggests that it is most likely a natural formation later modified by human hands.

Masaki Home and Shrine Home to Tenchi Masaki and the girls that live with him. Out in the countryside, the shrine is surrounded by woods, while the house overlooks a small lake. Also, it is the location of Washu's Lab, located in the Masaki home yet in a parallel dimension that Washu created herself.
