Name: Holly Buchanon

Alias: Mark

Age: 19

Ranking: Hero

Physical Appearance: Holly is about 5'6'' with a slender frame. Her hair is long and black, pulled back into a ponytail when she's in costume. Her costume's right arm is bare, but the rest is a full-body spandex suit or red and black. Their symbol is on her chest.

A quiver is hanging across her torso and she carries a long bow.

Personality:
Holly is a very self-concerned, but not self-serving. She cares about what others think of her, and sometimes the desire to be well-liked can interfere with her decision making. In costume, however, she is free from the chains of social status and can usually make the right decision when it comes down to the wire. She gets distracted by pretty and cute things quite often, never being one to hide her girly qualities. She also has tomboyish qualities too, however, sprouting most likely from the heavy influence of her father in her past. She throws money around whimsically because she was never taught how to use it shrewdly. She is innocent when it comes to fighting, unable to kill people or animals in battle. She is however, known for finding interesting and clever ways of stopping a foe.

Holly is also extremely impulsive, jumping into a situation regardless of warnings or obvious disadvantages against her. She has a soft spot for kids and animals, especially Horses, rabbits and the like.

Overall, Holly is a very changeable person, letting the events and people around her shape her thoughts and actions.

Powers/Abilities:

Weaknesses

Psychological Flaws:
Mark's innocence is a huge flaw, making her unable to make the tough decisions when they need to be made, and gives her a very side-kick-like mien.
Mark's impulsiveness, though not much to disadvantage a normal person, is a bad characteristic of a Ranged fighter, because it can put her into difficult situations that a cool-thinking ranger would not fall into.

Physical Flaws:
Dexterity is Mark's most closely honed skill, followed loosely by stamina. Strength and durability are her weakest assets and such she is a ranged fighter in every sense of the word.

Brief History:

Holly Buchanon Always lived something of a double-life. Her mother and father were high-rollers, giving her anything she wanted. In this wealth she developed two incredible talents: Horseback riding and Archery. As a child she would try anything once, and so when her father, who was the son of Kansan farmers, introduced her to some practices of the farm, she fell in love with recreational activities that her fellow classmates would gawk at and love her for. She continued to hone the skills with a 'talent' which astounded those around her. She however, was just enjoying herself (and reveling in her victory) until her parents had her eyes examined, and discovered that she had much better than average vision. High school was an experience for the beginning-to-mature Holly. She joined the expected prep cliques as her status would suggest. Her Archery and Horseback riding began to curtail as the normal pressures of high school set in. She embraced the self-serving part of her personality without realizing it, and became shallow.

Holly suffered an unexpected shock to her system when a girl who she'd been bullying without really realizing it committed suicide and Holly's name appeared in her suicide note. At first she denied having anything to do with it, and went about her daily life, but when she visited the funeral at the behest of her family, she saw that the girl, who she'd known had been poor, had been living alone taking care of her little sister, Eva. Something in Holly's head clicked and she began to give her intentions more scrutiny. She picked up her bow again, and went back to horseback riding, seeing them as the key to returning to her former, less shallow self. Though she couldn't bring herself to destroy the image she'd created in her clique, she started visiting the little girl in the orphanage where she'd been residing. The fact that the girl was initially unreceptive strengthened Holly's resolve to change herself, and with more visits she gained the girl's friendship. With time she learned of the girl's unnatural powers, powers entirely different than her own. Being super-heroes was originally an idea that Eva came up with, and Holly humored her, using her large store of wealth to make them both custom costumes with matching themes. Eva even created a logo for them to use.

though it started out as simple play for them, Their first day as (pretend) superheroes led to them apprehending a man who was robbing a bank, and the publicity they received gave them both a reason to stay in the game.

Reason for being on AM:
To save people, and most likely to grow as a person.

Physical Appearance: Eva is a small girl just over four feet in height. She has a mass of curly blond hair on her head. her slender frame is relatively undeveloped. Her costume covers her whole body, and she wears a pink skirt. Her logo is also on her chest.

Personality:
Eva is a fun-loving, innocent child with a huge imagination and a heart for people. Growing up poor has made her not materialistic and very liberal. She is always wondering why the world is the way it is, and though her pre-teen female mind is beginning to tell her to join the crowd, her temperament tells her not to accept the status quo. She herself is unaware of this internal conflict, but it can be seen in her occasional mood swings and changes of heart. She is forgetful and spacey, always thinking about the next great idea she has for a game or fantasy regarding the exploits of the Great Mark and Malady. Her innocent personality makes her excellent pray for a well-disguised fiend and her simple thought process makes her somewhat close minded and unable to see the shades of gray in the world. Good people are good people, and people who aren't are bad, even though some of those bad people may have come from her very own social class.

Eva is loud and outspoken, telling everyone everything that is on her mind even if Holly isn't happy about it. Sometimes Holly has to intervene in order to protect their secret identities, and quite often has talks with Eva about her talkativeness. Eva's longwinded talking can also make it difficult for any other member of the conversation to get a word in edgewise, and sometimes annoys Holly to no end. She loves kittens and other cute things even more than does Holly, but the two could easily spend hours in a pet store without realizing where the time went (in fact, they have).

Eva thinks the world of Holly. In her mind, Holly knows everything and will be able to get her out of any danger. This belief makes her fearless and naive. Overall, she's a cute, adorable little girl who has no idea what kind of life she's moving toward, and neither does her trusted companion.

Powers/Abilities:

Malady is named after her ability to 'absorb' and 'distribute' the illnesses of others. She can absorb most viruses and sicknesses, and her body's over-active metabolism does the rest. Though absorbing an illness means that she has to suffer from it while her body disposes of it, her hyper-metabolism makes terminal illnesses for other people two weeks bed rest for her. The 'Distribution' means that while she's suffering from a disease, she can impart it on someone else. Though she normally wouldn't do that, it is within her power.

Weaknesses

Psychological Flaws:
Malady is both naive and innocent, unable to foresee the worse consequences of actions she makes in costume. It's all little more than a game to her.

Physical Flaws:
She is small, weak, and unable to defend herself. Not only does this make her an easy target, it makes her prey.

Other Flaws:

Brief History:
Eva was poor her whole life. Since her parents passed away she was looked after by her older Sister, Elizabeth. Elizabeth always taught her to do the right thing and to never stick out too much, but Eva was always more outgoing and more open with people than her highschool sister was. She never knew about how horrible her sister's school life was. When her sister died, She had no idea the sort of thing that led up to it. All she knew were the names of the people who she must not associate with.

She spent a little while in an orphanage before meeting one of those people, Holly Buchanan. She was initially scared to talk to Holly, but eventually was able to open up to her. She didn't seem like a mean person. She kept bringing candy and sweets even though Eva hadn't been nice back. And she always smiled. Holly seemed to be receptive to all of Eva's crazy ideas, so when Eva mentioned her dream of helping people, She wasn't surprized to see Holly agree that it was a very good idea. What she hadn't expected, however, was that Holly would buy them both costumes and stuff! Holly came up with their names and Eva made their logo.

The Heroes of Justice, Mark and Malady, on their first adventure as do-gooders, aprehended a villainous attempt to rob a bank. Eva, excited to be finally of use, combined with the amount of publicity she was getting, insisted that they should become full-time superheroes.
